Internet Sales Return Policies
We are committed to quality customer service and a pleasant shopping experience. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, we do realize that there will be occassions when you are dissatisfied with your purchase. We are here to help.
We will be happy to accept your returned product within 30 days from the date of delivery:
- The original invoice accompanies the merchandise when it is returned.
- The merchandise is in new, unused condition and contains all of the original product packaging, labels and accesories as originally provided at the time of purchase.
- You have called our customer service representatives and they have provided you with a return authorization number. Our customer service personnel can be contacted at 1-800-WAX-STOR (929-7867) or you can email requesting a return authorization number.
Once you have received your authorization number, print the Return Shipping Label and affix it to the product for return. Please note: you are responsible for return shipping costs and we must receive the product in good order as outlined above. We will not accept damaged product for return.
Please allow two to four weeks for the complete processing of your return. Once we receive your returned items, it will take approximately 2 weeks to receive your refund. We will refund the merchandise costs excluding shipping charges based on how the purchase was made. Credit card purchases will be credited to your credit card account. Checks of any kind will be refunded with a General Wax company check.
Gift returns are credited to the original buyer and not to the gift recipient.
Damaged & Defective Product & Shipment Shortages
At General Wax we work diligently to provide quality products at competitive pricing that will arrive at its destination in new condition and that your order will be complete. If, however, you receive merchandise that has been damaged or shortage to your order, we will accept a claim up to 15 days from the date of delivery. We will not consider claims made beyond the 15 day grace period.
General Wax will, at its sole discretion, and depending on the circumstances either provide a credit or replacement product. In most cases where product has been short-shipped we will ship the balance of the order within two days. If the original order was shipped ground, unless the customer wishes to pay for overnight shipping, the follow-on shipment will be shipped by the same method as the original shipment. For example, if an order was short-shipped FedEx ground, the completing order will also be shipped FedEx ground.
To make a claim, call (800) WAX-STOR (929-7867) or email firstname.lastname@example.org and request a return authorization number. Once you have received a claim number, print the Return Shipping Label and complete it with the claim number you received.
If we determine that we are to issue a credit that credit will be issued in the same form, and to the same person or account used for the original purchase.
If appropriate, we will issue a credit including the freight costs.
